If you've been skateboarding for any great length of time (over 30 years or so), 2020's Skateboarding Hall of Fame inductee Rick Blackhart hardly needs an introduction. However, this Nor Cal badass is one of those lifelong skateboarders that kept pushing himself on all terrain in front of him and garnered a quite bit of media coverage and attention over the years. His namesake wheel designed, marketed, and sold through NHS, Inc. was highly popular and successful towards the end of 1979. But the skateboarding industry hit an abrupt speed bump at the close of the decade and Rick's short lived pro model with Tunnel Skateboards never got into a production larger than 200 which were produced by his close friend and mechanic Kevin Thatcher. Additionally, Blackie's pig sized pro model never made it into production and the marketplace due to this untimely industry collapse. This keepsake Blackhart OG Stripes skate deck is recreated in exactly the pig sized shape that Rick rode back in 1979. Minus the weighty solid alder construction and wedge kicktail, it stands as a true commemorative piece behind Rick Blackhart's relatively short pro skateboarding career and his many groundbreaking moments that shaped it.So roll on in and get down with this badass deck with its vivid graphics and the original Blackhart logo. No unnecessary or additional pinstripes around it needed!Specifications: Manufactured by PS Stix, Inc. with 7-ply maple construction with black stained veneer on top and middle layers. Full bleed screen printed graphics by Screamin' Squeegees on the bottom and one color (white) screen printing on the top. Limited numbered editions of 65 and personally signed by Rick Blackhart with a white paint pen the top of the deck.Measurements: 29.5" long, 10.875" wide, 6.625" tail, 2.875, nose and a 15.75" wheelbase. Truck holes are drilled in the modern size (2.125" apart) to allow for retro trucks and keep choices unlimited when setting up this deck.

He went on to collaborate with his friends and cohorts at Thrasher magazine to work on his monthly column Ask The Doctor for many years, and he continued to consult with Ermico Enterprises with design for Independent Truck Co. Rick's involvement and influence within skateboarding continues to carry on today and we're proud to have him join us as one of our esteemed lifers. This Blackhart Modernized Stripes skate deck is exactly the shape that Dr. Rick rides today and it functions great on all terrain with its balanced design.

Here we have some custom painted Dragster models in orange/ yellow or green yellow with assorted graphic colors, the green there's 4 color combos but the orange there's 8 different combos. Every color not shown but if you have any preferences let us know in comments at checkout...sold as assorted so no guarantees. Limited to 50 boards, hand numbered and signed by Omar.Young phenom Omar Hassan was killing it in the pro ranks not only in vert but in the street contests and also ripping it up in the real streets. Omar wanted a board that was better suited for shredding the streets as the “Magic Carpet” board was designed more for vert. The street dragster board features a double drilled wheelbase/ nose for more options.
The graphic took the “Chrome Dome” character from his previous “Smoke” graphic and put him hailing ass in a dragster. The “chrome domes” were Omar’s OC vert crew who would all paint their helmets metallic silver.Details:Originally released: 1990, reissued 2023Art by Jason JusticeNumber produced 50Bottom: Denim blue, Sapphire blue or Yellow stain laminate, Screen printed graphicsTop: Assorted colors, Screen printed graphic, laser burn logo, signed and numberedDimensions: 9.875 x 31.75”, 14.25/ 15.125” wheelbase, 6.625” tail, 6.125 / 5.5” noseConstruction: 7-ply mapleConcave: Period correct 1991 Blockhead concaveHole Pattern: Old School, double drilled frontManufactured by Watson Laminates, San Diego CA
