Das Deck hab ich schon länger gesucht! Und wieder mal hat sich Geduld ausgezahlt.

Jetzt lass ich mal wieder den Düsseldorfer raushängen:

Im Original wurde das Deck, Grafik Sean Cliver, von Powell-Peralta 1991 released!

Als "OG" nicht zu finden, als "Reissue" wie hier von "C&D" auch kaum auf dem Markt!

Und dann noch den Print von Sean dazu, #13/66, was will Man(n) mehr!?

"In the late 1980's, Powell Peralta had an established vert team that was maxed out with the likes of Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Mike In McGill and Lance Mountain. In an effort to expand the companies pro roster to include the growing "Street-Style" market, they began adding new "street" pros. After Tommy Guerrero it was Mike Vallely, then Ray Barbee. The fourth Powell-Peralta Street pro to receive a deck model was Long Beach local, Steve Saiz. His Native American "totem pole" graphic was the second illustrated by newly acquired artist Sean Cliver in 1989. Saiz continued to skate for Powell-Peralta into the early 1990's until his knee unfortunately gave out.

Saugeil...für den Fan der "Rocky Horror Picture Show" und Sean Cliver!

Besser geht es für einen Freak wie mich eigentlich nicht mehr!

Ist ne ganz lustige Geschichte...irgendwann im letzten Jahr hab ich mal wieder was auf Insta gepostet und Donna, Sean´s Frau hat es geliked (heisst doch so, oder?)!

War so um "Halloween" rum und Sean hatte was zu "Rocky Horror" gepostet! Und wie das so ist...man schreibt hin und her und ich hab nur gemeint "Rocky Horror" wär ja mal ein Deck wert...bumms...ein Jahr später kam "Sci-Fi Double Feature". Freude!

Das Ordern war ein bisschen strange"love"...erste Bestellung (per PayPal bezahlt) akzeptiert und kurze Zeit später von "StrangeLove" storniert! Geld natürlich sofort per PayPal zurück gezahlt! Mag ja am "Black Friday" gelegen haben...zu billig für eine Order aus Germany!? Kann ich vielleicht nachvollziehen, lass ich mir aber nicht gefallen...also erneut bestellt...teurer! Dann krieg ich ne Nachricht, ob ich noch USD 30.00 drauf legen könnte, da der Versand sonst nicht machbar wäre. USD 30.00 per PayPal bezahlt und zack...nicht mal 10 Tage später bei mir zu Hause!

Was will ich damit sagen?

Leute...checkt eure Online-Shops und bleibt aktuell!

Hab ich schon länger,,,in irgendeinem Post schonmal gezeigt!

Ich hab nur gerade mal angefangen, meine Schätze in einem "Excel-File" zu katalogisieren...uiuiui...hätte ich von Anfang an machen sollen, stressig! Ich musste tatsächlich auf meinem eigenen Blog schauen, damit ich keinen Schatz vergesse. Dabei bin ich auf den "Joker" Print - Glow in the dark...ziemlich spooky...gestoßen.

Heith Kirchart...??? Hat scheinbar die meisten Videos auf YouTube gesperrt...ist jetzt Schauspieler...huhuhu...amazing!

"An east coast skateboarding wonder at a young age—there’s a story out there that Bucky started skateboarding after his bicycle was stolen, sure, but really there was a shop owner in Baltimore named Andy who liked Bucky, flowed him product, and generally made skateboarding affordable for him. He entered amateur contests and did well. His profile rose to a point where in 1989 Tony Hawk sent him a game changing invite to visit him in SoCal.

The 1990 release of what has become known as Bucky’s STADIUM model was one of the graphics designed entirely by Sean Cliver during his three years at Powell Peralta. The back-story behind the unusual baseball-themed graphic has little to do with Bucky’s interest in, or his ability to actually play baseball.

Not only was Bucky known for being a nice, likable guy, Sean also knew he was from Baltimore. At the time the Baltimore Orioles had gone through a resurgence because their new stadium (Camden Yards) was being constructed while Cal Ripken, Jr., was surging in his effort to play more baseball games consecutively (2632 eventually) than any human thought possible. Sean saw this as an opportunity for Bucky Lasek, the nice guy that people liked, to have a board graphic with lots of those people he liked on his board. BOOM!

Die Grafik ist von Sean Cliver.

Für einen Fan und Sammler natürlich ein Muß und schon wieder "Out of Stock"!

Bucky Lasek war und ist ein geiler Skater und Typ.

Diverse Medaillen bei den X-Games, davon allein 5 x Gold.

Immer für einen Spaß zu haben und zum Scherzen aufgelegt!

Jaja, heute war mal wieder so ein Tag...Pakete eingetroffen!

Die letzten Tage ein bisschen mit meinem ungenannten Dealer gemailt, gedealt und...Zack...neun Teile eingetroffen! Die restlichen sieben poste ich nach und nach!

Damit hatte ich eigentlich die mir selbst gesetzte Grenze von 100 Decks erreicht...dumm gelaufen...101 auch schon im Sack!

Schlimm wenn etwas zur Sucht wird, aber...I love it!
