Diese Decks musste ich haben...unbedingt! Haben mich am meisten Nerven in meiner "Sammler-Leidenschaft" gekostet! Warum? Irgendwas hat dem Zoll nicht gepasst! Also hab ich dreimal versucht eine "IZA-Anmeldung" online einzureichen, dreimal abgelehnt!
Dann bin ich persönlich hingefahren, vor der Arbeit, mit meiner geliebten Frau! Und das ist mal nicht gerade um die Ecke!!! Um 6:58 Uhr vor der Tür gestanden, um 7:17 Uhr (nicht 7:15 Uhr!) ist geöffnet worden! Wer zuerst kommt malt zuerst, sonst wartest Du Stunden! Nett gelächelt, extremst ruhig gelieben (hätte ausrasten können) und siehe da...geht! MEINE!

Ich hab die Decks durch einen älteren Tip von Bill persönlich und dann von seinem Partner bei "American Nomad", Jay Kelly erworben!
Ich bin ein ein absoluter Fan von Bill Danforth, war ich schon in den 80zigern! War für mich immer der geilste Typ in der "Alva-Gang". Seitdem wir etwas Kontakt haben hat sich das nur tiefer gefestigt! Bill ist authentisch, immer noch Punk-Rock, ehrlich und immer hilfsbereit!
Einfach ein mega geiler Typ und Skater!
Bill Danforth belongs in the "Hall of Fame"...now!!!

Nach 20 Jahren "American Nomad" haben sich Bill Danforth und Jay Kelly ( beide Eigentümer) entschlossen, ihre Rechte an Brand-X abzutreten...mit künstlerischem Einfluß.

Our History
We are celebrating 50 years in the skateboard business.
In 1974, Patrick Truitt met Josh Marlowe on the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland and they became instant friends. Josh introduced Patrick to skateboarding and his life-long love of the sport has continued ever since. Spurred by Patrick's enthusiastic interest in the sport, his father dove head first into learning everything possible about skateboards and realized there was a major void in the industry. He went on to start the world's first skateboard distribution company and helped launch the careers of many of yesterday and today's industry leaders, thus solidifying Patrick and the Truitt Family as one of the founding families of the skateboard products industry.
In 1978, our family started deck manufacturing for Kryptonics and in 1981, fully took over making all Kryptonics skateboards, as their High Energy line. Over the next few years, throughout the 1980s, we expanded the distribution business worldwide and purchased Brand-X Skateboards in 1986 from Bernie Tostenson (the former Sims artist who started the company), and in 198& we created Toxic Skates, as a spin-off of the PA demo skate group, Team Toxic.
Throughout the 80s and early 90s, we built Toxic, Brand-X and High Energy into major, global brands, Then (when the skateboard industry changed in the mid 90s), we decided to stopped manufacturing and focus solely on the distribution business. Decades later, in 2015, Patrick, along with his partner, Amy brought back Brand-X, Toxic and High Energy under their company, Brand-X Skateboards.
Today, Patrick and Amy continue to proudly make these much-loved global brands, plus American Nomad, Kanoa and many others, using the only the highest quality North American products and workmanship, with personalized customer service, and a true love for the industry and skateboarders worldwide.

"Well dang, I just passed the 60 year mark and so it seems like the appropriate time to reissue the 1995 classic Olde Fart board. In 1995 at 30-ish years old we were feeling like old farts with technical skateboarding progressing at breakneck speed and what we were doing was so uncool.
Laban and I had recently launched Invisible so I took the opportunity to turn Blockhead into perhaps the first “Old School” company making wider boards and bigger wheels at a time when you couldn’t find a board over 7.5” or wheels over 48mm.
We were dinosaurs but we embraced it to keep things fun at a time when skateboarding was trying to push us out….but here we are and we’re still pushing forward!"

Ich werde nicht wahnsinnig viel über das Deck schreiben. Ist ein OG von 1991, der Zustand ist wie neu...Hammer! Sofort "geboxt"! Und nun gehört es mir!
Wollte eigentlich ein schwarzes und ein grünes, da sich das "shipping" sonst nicht gerechnet hätte! Grün "sold out", hab dann zwei schwarze genommen! Das zweite hat Starsky bekommen. Wie es sich gehört zum EK!
